Mixed reality emotional gameplay - Break apart floating objects that represent negative self-talk.

Dynamic Reframing System — Each object reveals a negative statement, then evolves into a neutral thought, then a hopeful one, then a fully positive affirmation across multiple hits.

Narrative Progression  After clearing all objects, the narrator explains the emotional lesson the player just experienced.

Room-scanned mixed reality world  The player’s real room becomes the canvas for emotional transformation.

Hand-tracked interactions  No controllers required, players physically punch or tap away negative thoughts.

## Inspiration

Through out my life I have struggled with negative self talk. Reframe is inspired by cognitive reframing therapy, mindfulness practices, mixed reality immersion, and the idea that destroying negative beliefs can be physically healing.

The experience blends VR mechanics with emotional growth, creating a therapeutic way to regulation self talk. 

## What it does

Reframe turns destructive gameplay into emotional healing:

The player hits an object.

The object displays a negative belief (e.g., “I’m not good enough”).

Additional hits gradually transform it:

Negative → Challenged → Reframed → Empowered

Beautiful effects spawn as the thought becomes positive.

After all objects are destroyed, a narrator speaks a final message summarizing the personal transformation achieved through play.

It’s mixed reality therapy disguised as a game.

## How its built

Unity + C# for gameplay logic

Meta XR SDK for passthrough, hand tracking, and environmental anchoring

Destructible layered objects with particles, SFX, and physics

Butterfly / flow spawners linked to positive emotional states

GameStats event system to trigger narrative once all objects are reframed and destroyed

Timeline for final narration and cinematic visual sequences
